Manchester to Blackpool Cycle Ride for Christies 2008

Starting from St Peters Square Manchester, Ian along with many others will pedal the 65 mile ride, along country lanes and roads, passing through Leigh, Haigh, Preston, and Inskip before finishing at the South Promenade in Blackpool.

Ian will help raise funds for Christies, one of Europe’s leading cancer centres, treating over 40,000 patients a year, with new plans to transform treatment and patient care, which include a new £35 million treatment centre, which will house the largest early clinical trials unit in the world.

Ian completed the ride in 4hours 8minutes, but more importantly raised £220.00 for this very worthy cause.
