Managing Director & Surveyor Ian Ogden HNC CSRT CSSW has over 30 years remedial building/preservation experience; and as such we undertake remedial building surveys and specialisted remedial work to a wide selection of buildings, including new built building, historic listed buildings, commercial buildings, churches, schools, and local authority owned properties along with social housing association dwellings.
We undertake in-depth building surveys and carry out necessary remedial works for Damp Proofing (and the associated Re-plastering & Joinery) Substructure/basement Waterproofing and Cellar Conversions.
We assess the structural timbers in buildings for Wood Destroying Fungi’s and Wood Boring Beetles.
Our Building Maintenance division undertakes responsive day to day repairs for Social Housing Associations, including replacement Kitchens, Bathrooms, Wet Rooms and Disabled Adaptions.
Furthermore, we also provide advice and control measures to overcome Mould Growth developments caused by condensation.
We are proud to be members of the Guarantee Protection Insurance (GPI) – Contractors Health & Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) – ConstructionLine and The British Structural Waterproofing Association (BSWA) – we are also members of the Association of Accredited Wykamol Users (AAWU) – and the Basement Waterproofing Association (BWA) – along with being approved contractors with Delta Membrane Systems, Safeguard and Rotafix.
Membership of the above is controlled by strict criteria and is subject to a thorough vetting procedure, which includes good working and surveying practices, office administration and Health & Safety responsibilities, financial stability and environmental awareness.
We are assessed and inspected by these organisations on a regular unannounced basis.
