Blaze Breaks Out In Stockport Town Centre

More than 50 fire fighters were called to a large blaze to a project that we had undertaken a detailed stepped Substructure waterproofing system to a large retaining wall (see our case study section), ironically the project was just weeks away from hand over.

Needless to say all involved with the project were shocked when the news first broke, sadly the build had to be demolished, and following extensive investigation the substructure waterproofing system had to be undertaken once more.

Currently our Technicians are back on site starting from scratch again to re-install this highly detailed design, which needs to progress with the erection of the new steel Superstructure under the watchful eye of the Engineers, Project Architects and Stockport based Construction Company.

On the positive side no one was injured by the blaze, and the cause is still under investigation.
